We provide lactation support for residents of the North Shore!
Our program offers in-home lactation support with a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) for families who are thinking about breastfeeding or navigating infant feeding during the postpartum period. A CLC is a trained lactation support professional who provides current evidence-based support and management around breastfeeding, chest feeding, pumping, bottle feeding, and other common feeding concerns. Visits are individualized and family-centered, designed to meet families where they are, in the comfort of their home. Support is educational and non-judgmental, and families are never pressured to feed in a certain way. In-home visits can help reduce common barriers to care and support feeding goals that work best for each family.
